stack & whack quiltsI have been working on a four patch stack & whack. The pattern is called Kensington Kaleidoscope and was created
by Marilyn Foreman from Eagan, MN. I thought it sounded interesting, especially since my DH grew up and went to
school in Kensington, MN. We are very fortunate here in Minnesota to have such great talent. Instead
of using flat head pins to attach my four layers or any other stack and whack. I attach them with thread.
If you use a heavier weight thread, verses a 50 weight thread the layers stay attached better. By using the thread method
you don't have to worry about removal of pins or forget about the pins and rotary cut over them by mistake.
I am talking by experience on that one, since I get so involved in what I'm doing I forget those pins are there.
This pattern was fun and easy. I can't wait to get it completed and quilted. It will go in one of our
bedrooms upstairs. As many quilters, we quilt for others in our family or make gifts. We forget to make things
for ourselves. If you get a chance, check our Marilyn Formans patterns at www.quiltmoments.com I have not met Marilyn, but will try to meet her someday. Good bye for now and have a great
day.

she will work on it to make it right. I hope you enjoy the new site and any new coming changes.
The summer is
going to go fast, I am going try to update this blog page as best as I can, however if I find that I am not utilizing this
I will turn the page off.
Wishing everyone the best
